Who owns a Credit Union?

Every member of Golden 1 Credit Union is also an owner of the credit union. This means that each member has a say in the election of Golden 1's volunteer Board of Directors.

When you join Golden 1, your initial deposit to open a share account establishes your membership and makes you an owner.
