You can take the money out of your certificate without a penalty as long as it is within the 14 calendar-day grace period following the maturity date of your Term Savings Certificate.

Visit our IRA Service Center to service an existing IRA or to open a new IRA.

You can submit your request in one of the following ways. Click to expand each section for detailed information.

Online Banking Request

You can submit a request through our self-service form in Online Banking.

  1. Log into Online Banking with your account credentials.
  2. Access Certificate Management.
    1. Click Open Account/Manage/Certificates.
    2. Select Certificate Management.
  3. Complete the digital form.
    Note: Term Savings Certificates are eligible for action within the 14 calendar-day grace period and will be featured at the top of the page, highlighted, with a bolded border for easy identification.
  4. Click the eligible certificate to begin the digital form for completion
  5. Select the Transfer option to take all the money out of your Term Savings Certificate and transfer the funds into a share within your same account.

Submit a secure message in Online or Mobile Banking, explaining what you would like us to do with the Term Savings Certificate.

Written Request

Submit a written request by mail, visit any branch, or call our Member Service Contact Center at 1-877-GOLDEN 1 (1-877-465-3361). We're also happy to review other account options that may better fit your needs.
