Can I take the money out of my Term Savings Certificate?

»

You can take the money out of your certificate without a penalty as long as it is within the 14 calendar-day grace period following the maturity date of your Term Savings Certificate.
You can submit your request in one of the following ways:
  • Submit a request through our self-service form in Online Banking.
    • Log into Online Banking: Access your account credentials.
    • Access Certificate Management.
      • Click Open Account/Manage/Certificates.
      • Select Certificate Management.
    • Complete the digital form: Term Savings Certificates are eligible for action within the 14 calendar-day grace period and will be featured at the top of the page, highlighted, with a bolded border for easy identification. Click on the eligible certificate to begin the digital form for completion; select the Transfer option to take all the money out of your Term Savings Certificate and transfer the funds into a share within your same account.
  • Submit a secure message in Online or Mobile Banking, explaining what you would like us to do with the Term Savings Certificate.
  • Submit a written request by mail, visit any branch, or call our Member Service Contact Center at 1-877-GOLDEN 1 (1-877-465-3361). We're also happy to review other account options that may better fit your needs.
