Can you change the order of the names listed on the annual Mortgage Interest Statement?

Due to IRS regulations, the mortgage lender/servicer reports interest paid in the name of the primary borrower's name only. The primary borrower is the person whose name is listed and signed first on the note or modification agreement. The order the borrower’s names appear on the note can be changed with a written authorization signed by all borrowers listed on the loan.
