How can I change my Out of Band Authentication phone number when logging in for the first time?

When logging into your account for the first time, updating your Out of Band Authentication phone number is disabled. Please contact our Member Service Contact Center at 1-877-465-3361 for assistance.

After successfully logging in and setting up your account, future phone number changes may be done by following the instructions below:

  1. In the top menu bar, click Settings.
  2. Click to expand the Security section and select Identity Verification Phones.
  3. Add the new phone number.
    1. Enter the new phone number, a nickname, and select whether this number will receive codes via text or phone calls.
    2. Click Save.
    3. Enter the code that was sent to the new number.
    4. Click Verify.
  4. Scroll to the bottom to see all phone numbers associated with your account.
  5. Click the radio buttom to the left of the phone number you would like as your primary.
  6. You can then delete the old number if needed.
