How do I send a wire transfer?
»
Outgoing wire transfers must be initiated in person at a Golden 1 branch. Wire transfer requests must be received by 1 p.m., Monday through Friday, for the wire to be sent the same day.
Domestic wires are transferred in U.S. dollars only. When sending an outgoing wire, the Golden 1 account holder should provide the following information: Receiving financial institution's name, city, and state; the receiver's full name and account number; and the routing number, if known. A tracer may be placed on the request after two (2) business days if the funds have not been received.
International wire transfer requests may require additional information specific to the country where funds are being sent. The International Offered Countries list includes all requirements per country to avoid delays or wire returns. International wire transfers may take up to 15 days to be posted to the beneficiary’s account; a tracer may be placed on the request after 10 business days if the funds have not been received.
