How does Check 21 affect me?

Check 21 does not affect the way you currently write or accept checks. The float time or the time it takes for your check to clear; however, may decrease allowing the check to clear your account faster. Checks that used to take days to clear your account before Check 21 implementation can now clear your account in just hours.
