How does the Payroll Accommodation process work?

»

Payroll Accommodation allows State of California employees to credit their paychecks early on occasion. Payroll Accommodation goes into effect when a state paycheck is scheduled to be processed at the beginning of the next business month vs. the end of the current month. The amount deposited will be based on the prior month’s Direct Deposit. We will post a credit to your account at the end of the month but will reverse this credit immediately once the state submits its normal paycheck information.

If there is a negative balance in your account after the credit is reversed (either because your state paycheck does not post to your account when the state submits its paycheck information, or because the amount of your paycheck is insufficient to offset the money previously credited to your account), the normal insufficient funds rules and charges will apply. In the case of a negative balance, Golden 1 may debit or deduct from your other Golden 1 accounts to offset the negative balance.
