I'm moving out of state. Can I bring my car if my auto loan has not been paid off?

Yes. Contact the Loan Servicing Department for details at 1-877-GOLDEN 1 (1-877-465-3361). Every state has different requirements, and additional documents may be required.

Your account must be current, account address must match your new home state, and you must possess a valid CA registration in your name (exceptions can be made for military personnel). Once you move, you must visit the Department of Motor Vehicles in your new state to start your registration process.  Once the vehicle is registered in your new state of residence, please fax the new registration to Golden 1 at (916) 288-6848.
