If I have an escrow account on my Golden 1 First Mortgage loan, do I need to send my property tax bill to Golden 1 Credit Union?
»
Property tax bills are needed from you only in the following situations:
- The property tax bill is for a delinquent or corrected amount.
- The taxing authority sends the tax bills only to the homeowner (designated as a "homeowner area") instead of sending the bill to Golden 1 Credit Union.
Supplemental or added assessment bills are the responsibility of the homeowner and are not calculated as part of the escrow payment. If these are sent to Golden 1 Credit Union with your permission to pay, this may increase your future escrow payment.
You can send the property tax bill in one of the following ways:
Mail
