My credit report is reporting my loan with Golden 1 incorrect or I'disagree with the reporting. How can I correct or dispute the information?

Accurate credit reporting is very important. If you feel that something is not correct you have the right to request that the information is researched.

All requests must be submitted in writing, verbal requests cannot be accepted.  Include all information necessary to be able to identify you and the specific information being disputed.

In order to comply with requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), all credit bureau disputes related to Golden 1 loans must be submitted by the member to the following address:

In order to research your request please include the following information:

  • Name
  • Account Number
  • Loan being disputed
  • Address
  • All supporting documentation must accompany the request
    • All requests must include a copy of the credit report showing the disputed information 
    • Fraud or Identity Theft require a copy of the police report, or identity theft affidavit or copy of the court order
