What is a digital card?

»

A digital card is an instant virtual debit card that only exists in your digital wallet app such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can use a digital card immediately to make online purchases using the temporary expiration date and 3-digit security code, known as a CVV, on the back of your card. You can also use it with your mobile device to make in-store purchases wherever a digital wallet payment is accepted. You will have a digital card while you wait for your physical card to arrive in the mail.
