Wire transfers let you send or receive money quickly and securely, whether within the U.S. or internationally. Here’s what to know about receiving or sending a consumer and business wire with Golden 1.

Receive a Wire Transfer
Incoming wire transfers are posted periodically throughout the day Monday through Friday. Golden 1 receives wire transfer funds in U.S. dollars only. To provide formal instructions to the sender, refer to the Incoming Wire Instructions form. The following information is required to receive a wire transfer:
- Institutional Information Golden 1 Credit Union, 8945 Cal Center Drive, Sacramento, CA 95826
- Golden 1's ABA number (321175261)
- The member’s name and account number. If funds should be posted to an account other than checking, add the appropriate suffix (for example: 12345-0 for savings)
- For incoming international wires, Golden 1 Credit Union does not have an IBAN

Send a Wire Transfer
Outgoing wire transfers must be initiated in person at a Golden 1 branch. Wire transfer requests must be received by 1 p.m., Monday through Friday, for the wire to be sent the same day.
Domestic wires are transferred in U.S. dollars only. When sending an outgoing wire, the Golden 1 account holder should provide the following information: Receiving financial institution's name, city, and state; the receiver's full name and account number; and the routing number, if known. A tracer may be placed on the request after two (2) business days if the funds have not been received.
International wire transfer requests may require additional information specific to the country where funds are being sent. The International Offered Countries list includes all requirements per country to avoid delays or wire returns. International wire transfers may take up to 15 days to be posted to the beneficiary’s account; a tracer may be placed on the request after 10 business days if the funds have not been received.

Receive a Wire Transfer for a Business Account
To receive a domestic wire transfer to your Golden 1 Business Services Account, provide the sender the Business Incoming Wire Instructions form:
- Institutional Information Golden 1 Credit Union, 8945 Cal Center Drive, Sacramento, CA 95826
- Golden 1's ABA number - 121182852
- Your business name as it appears on the account
- Your business address as it appears on the account
- For incoming international wires, Golden 1 Credit Union does not have an IBAN
Please note, some financial institutions do not recognize our business routing number. If this happens, please contact Business Member Support at 1-877-909-5656.
Send a Business Wire
Receive an International Wire to a Business Account
Golden 1 Credit Union does not currently have a SWIFT code, BIC code, or IBAN. The sender must request that their foreign bank send the wire through their correspondent U.S. bank, instructing their correspondent U.S. bank to forward credit to Golden 1 Credit Union using the following details:
- Federal Reserve Bank ABA (Routing) Number - 121182852
- Federal Reserve Bank Telegraph Name: “GOLDEN 1 CU”
- Bank name (Transfer to): “Golden 1 Credit Union”
- Credit Union address: “8945 Cal Center Drive, Sacramento CA 95826”
- Your business name: [Business name as it appears on your Golden 1 account]
- Account to be credited: [Your Golden 1 Business Account number]
