Add or Remove Someone from an Account

To add a joint owner to an account, you can complete the Membership Application and return it by mail or in person to any Golden 1 branch.  All persons intended to be on the account must sign the Membership Application. In addition, a copy of the identification of all account owners must be included with the application.

Please note, joint owners cannot be changed or removed from an account. Any signer on the account may request to close the account at any Golden 1 branch or by phone at 1-877-GOLDEN 1 (1-877-465-3361).

To establish a new individual account, or an account with different owners, click on the Membership link from golden1.com, and then click Join Us. You’ll be able to apply for a new savings and checking account.
