Mobile Deposit

The Golden 1 Mobile app allows users to deposit checks up to $25,000 electronically using their iPhone, iPad, or Android device. It requires snapping a photo of the front and back of the check and verification of endorsement.

You can deposit checks using the Golden 1 Mobile app on your iPhone®, iPad®, or Android™ device. Mobile Deposit is available for checks up to $25,000. For larger checks, please use an ATM or visit a branch location. Be sure the check is not rescanned or deposited elsewhere unless we specifically direct you to do so.

Make a deposit
  1. Log into Mobile Banking
  2. Tap I want to then tap Deposit a check
  3. Select an account and enter the check amount. 
  4. Snap a photo of the front and the back of the check. 
Verifying a deposit was accepted
Checks are reviewed and processed daily, excluding Federal holidays. Once your deposit has been accepted, you will receive an email that includes the date and amount of your deposit and whether any funds were placed on hold. Please see the Funds Availability section of our Disclosure of Account Information for details. 

You can also log in to the Golden 1 Mobile app, tap the More button in the bottom menu, then tap Mobile Deposits. Your recent mobile deposit history will be listed under Mobile deposit history.

Helpful tips:

  • Verify that the back of your check is signed (endorsed).
  • Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos.
  • Keep the phone flat and steady above the check when taking your photo.
  • Make sure the entire check image is visible and in focus.
  • Be sure the check is not rescanned or deposited elsewhere unless we specifically direct you to do so.
