What is a digital debit card?

»

A digital debit card is an instant virtual debit card that only exists in your digital wallet app such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.  You will have a digital card while you wait for your physical debit card to arrive in the mail. You can use a digital card immediately to make online purchases using the temporary expiration date and 3-digit security code, known as a CVV, on the back of your card. You can also use it with your mobile device to make in-store purchases wherever a digital wallet payment is accepted.

Digital replacement cards are currently only available for debit cards.

Digital Card Expiration

Your digital card will work until either the last day of the next month the date your digital card was issued or until you activate your physical card, whichever comes first.
For example, if your digital card was issued on July 1, it will work until August 31. However, if you get your physical card in the mail and activate it on August 15, your digital card will expire on August 15.
