What is Golden 1's External Transfer service?

External Transfer is a service you can use in your Golden 1 Mobile and/or Online Banking account to transfer funds to and from your accounts at other financial institutions.
Follow the appropriate steps below to transfer money to an external account.
Online Banking
- After logging into Online Banking, select Transfers from the top menu.
- On the right, under Services, click External Account Transfer.
- Read the disclaimer and click Continue.
- Fill out all the appropriate fields, and click Review once completed.
To add a new External account:
- Click the Add a New Account link.
- Select the Account Type.
- Fill out all the appropriate fields, then click Next.
- Review the transfer information and if everything looks correct, click Confirm.
Mobile App
- After logging into the Mobile app, tap Transfer & Pay in the bottom toolbar.
- Tap Make an external transfer.
- Fill out the form as appropriate then tap Review.
Note: If the account you wish to transfer from/to does not appear in the list, tap Add new account in the menu that appears and enter the information for that account, then click Add.
- If everything looks correct, tap Transfer.
- You will receive a confirmation screen if the transfer was successful. Tap Done to finish the transaction.
