What is Golden 1's External Transfer service?

External Transfer is a service you can use in your Golden 1 Mobile and/or Online Banking account to transfer funds to and from your accounts at other financial institutions.

Follow the appropriate steps below to transfer money to an external account.

Online Banking
  1. After logging into Online Banking, select Transfers from the top menu.
  2. On the right, under Services, click External Account Transfer.
  3. Read the disclaimer and click Continue.
  4. Fill out all the appropriate fields, and click Review once completed.
    To add a new External account:
    1. Click the Add a New Account link.
    2. Select the Account Type.
    3. Fill out all the appropriate fields, then click Next.
  5. Review the transfer information and if everything looks correct, click Confirm.
Mobile App
  1. After logging into the Mobile app, tap Transfer & Pay in the bottom toolbar.
  2. Tap Make an external transfer.
  3. Fill out the form as appropriate then tap Review.
    Note: If the account you wish to transfer from/to does not appear in the list, tap Add new account in the menu that appears and enter the information for that account, then click Add.
  4. If everything looks correct, tap Transfer.
  5. You will receive a confirmation screen if the transfer was successful. Tap Done to finish the transaction.
